Why is my attendee count lower in EventHero than what's in (Eventbrite, Regonline, BusyConf, Event Espresso, other registration system)?

EventHero uses an event participant's email address as the unique identifier in our system.

If the total attendee count is lower in EventHero that in your registration system, there's usually one simple answer:

Someone registered or purchased multiple tickets and associated a single email address with each ticket.

To fix this, login to your registration system, find orders with multiple tickets and ensure that each ticket has a unique email address associated with it.

After this is completed visit:


Select your registration system then select Sync My Events Now.

The event participants with the unique email addresses will appear in EventHero as  New.
